 In the knowledge economy networking is a critical success factor for technology based businesses. At Savoie Technolac Science and Technology Park all our activities are designed to catalyse synergies between the higher education, research and business communities sharing the site.
Our goal is to harness the potential of networking in order to foster interaction, exchange and therefore opportunity, helping all our residents and partners to perceive new business ideas and establish new professional relationships.
 Competitiveness clusters
In 2005 the French government launched an ambitious initiative to support industry clusters which are led by regional partnerships between industry, research and higher education. We are involved in five such Rhône-Alpes-based competitiveness clusters. These are:
- Tenerrdis: a renewable energies cluster with the solar component supported by the National Institute for Solar Energy located on Savoie Technolac
- Imaginove: a digital and media content cluster
- Sporaltec: a sports and leisure cluster
- Techtera: a functional and technical textiles cluster
- Plastipolis: a plastics and composite materials cluster
